British Parliamentary Style Debate is an imitation of the way the British Parliament makes decisions.

During the debate, young people debate on many current and different topics such as economics, law, international relations, ideological views, rights movements, etc. by defending their assigned side with their arguments and try to convince the jury.

Our school, the pearl of the Bosphorus, is located next to Çırağan Palace. It is a qualified project school with approximately 1% of students. There are many clubs in our school that organize activities and events like ours. 

The students of our school are individuals who have a vision and mission, have developed awareness and are sensitive to their environment. It is one of their most important wishes to be useful to society and themselves, to spread and carry out activities in this regard.

Our main goal is to take the place we have taken with Beşiktaş Debate'23 in the English Debate community, which is developing among well-established high schools, to a higher level in 2024 and to organize a much more comprehensive and advanced tournament than we organized last year.

All high school students who want to improve themselves in terms of both awareness and language, who want to better understand themselves and society through debate, who are interested in Debate and want to be interested in Debate

The tournament will last for 3 days in total, with round matches on October 12-13 and the final on October 14.

Our tournament, which we want to carry forward every year, will be organized in our school this year.

The first debate tournament organized by our society, Beşiktaş Debate'23, which we organized last year despite many difficulties and which everyone who came was very pleased, was Beşiktaş Debate'23. 40 teams participated, there were no observers and intern juries and this first tournament we organized at our school had about 120 people. 

This year, we aim to more than double this number and organize a much more advanced and fun tournament with a more conscious team and we continue our work with our supporters who stand behind us young people on this path.
